The 5th annual Freedom Ride will take place this Saturday, June 15th in Independence, Missouri. Just outside of Kansas City, this event offers some of the most scenic riding in the region. The ride begins in Independence and heads through Eastern Jackson County and Lafayette County. The route takes riders through rolling countryside, wine-country, and along the Missouri River via the historic 224 Scenic Byway. Some of the sights along the way include a stop at Sibley Orchard and Cider Mill, Battle of Lexington Historic Sights, and LaBella Vineyards and Winery.
