Midwest Cycling Events

Many parts of the Midwest have been experiencing heavy rains, but there are still plenty of scheduled events around the region. Take a look at these events and plan your weekend now.

Missouri

St. Joseph will host the Robidoux Roundup on Sunday. The mountain bike race will take place at Krug Park. The 7-mile singletrack course has 12 bridges, many elevation changes, and plenty of off-camber sections. Robidoux Roundup Flyer

Kansas

The Kansas State Time Trial will occur on Saturday in Walnut, KS. This also serves as a double points race for the KBAR/KBAT series.

Thursday night is the monthly LifeBalance Sports 10 K TT Series in Gardner. This is a great course and an easy way to compare your fitness from one month to the next.

Oklahoma

Tomorrow, Thursday the 12th, is the Speedwheel Criterium in Downtown Stillwater, OK. The .8-mile criterium will challenge riders.

The Fight the Fire at Firehill Criterium Championships will be held this weekend on Saturday and Sunday in Edmond. Saturday’s racers will compete for category championships and Sunday’s races will determine age group champions.

Iowa

The Grinnell Twilight Criterium takes place in Grinnell, Iowa. The 6-turn short course will keep riders on their toes.
