This weekend brings two days of racing to the Lawrence area.  After one week off, racing returns to Clinton Lake State Park on Saturday with the 3rd Spring Fling Criterium of the season. There are 3 races left in the series. Sunday is the final installment of the 2013 Perry Road Race. This is the final opportunity for racers to gain points for the overall series title. The winds will once again play a factor in this race.

An initially warm weekend forecast has gone south rather quickly. Saturday’s forecasted highs are in the 40s. The Perry Road Race participants can’t seem to catch a break with, as of press time, a forecast calling for rain, snow, and wind on Sunday.
