There are two upcoming officials clinics in the Midwest: Introductory Officials Clinic and an Introductory Moto Officials Clinic. The clinics will be held on February 23rd and February 24th at Highland Park High School in Highland Park, Illinois.

Introductory Officials Clinic  – Feb. 23 at 9:00 AM

This is an introductory clinic for students to gain their Level C Officials license. It will be led by instructor David Fowkes. Rulebooks will be provided and students will receive basic instruction in road, track, cyclo-cross, and mountain biking officiating.  There will be an open book test following the clinic. Please bring a check for $35, payable to USA Cycling, for your official’s license. You can also bring a credit card number to be sent in with the application for an official’s license.

This is an introductory clinic for officials who wish to become moto referees.  You do not need a motorcycle license to attend the class. However, you do need to be at least a regional C level official.  The cost of this clinic is $50.
