Road season is finally in full swing. If you don’t get out and ride this weekend it won’t be for a lack of events to choose from.

Warsaw Parks and Recreation provides riders a  full weekend of mountain bike events as part of the Feel the Burn MTB event. Saturday’s kid’s race and dirt criterium will be followed by an endurance race on Sunday. Feel the Burn MTB race will be held in Warsaw on Saturday.

For those who crave some distance this weekend there will be a 300km brevet on Saturday in the KC area. This is part of the  KCUC Brevet Series. The ride begins in Oak Grove, Missouri.

STL area women and juniors who are looking to hone some racing skills can do so at the Team Revolution Racing 101 Clinic. This clinic is open to Women and Juniors (girls and boys up to age 18). Participants will learn road racing and criterium rules, skills and tactics in this one day experiential clinic. Learn about pack riding: What to expect, how to move around and react, attacks, break aways and sprints.

Those looking for some fast racing action can head to the STL area to take part in the Tilles Criterium. Flowing turns, gentle rises and fast laps will satisfy any rider’s need for speed.
