The opening weekend of October brings plenty of cycling events and also some great weather to enjoy them.

Fat Tire enthusiasts will be heading to Warsaw, Missouri on Sunday for Mountain Madness. This XC race offers a “challenging 5 to 6 Mile course that has sweet flowing single track, rocks, short burst type climbs, with several areas to pass, get ready to work.” Event Flyer : Event Website : Online Registration : Event Weather

Those looking for a fun group ride can head to Gladstone, Missouri, just north of Kansas City for the Rising From Ashes Team Rwanda Ride. Two ride distances of 12 and 30 miles are offered and will take riders through the KC Northland.  Event Flyer : Event Website : Event Weather Forecast 

Pedal the Cause, an annual bike challenge with 100% of donations directed to cancer research at the Siteman Cancer Center and St. Louis Children’s Hospital, will host several events in the STL area on both Saturday and Sunday. Event Flyer:  Event Website : Online Registration : Event Weather
