Riders looking for racing action or non-competitive rides have some great choices this weekend in Missouri.

Saturday

Those looking for some racing action can head down to the STL area for The O’Fallon Cup. This criterium will be held at Fort Zumwalt Park in O’Fallon, Missouri. This is a closed course criterium with a 1 mile loop, rolling hills, tight corners and an uphill finish. Event Flyer

Those in the STL area looking for a great training ride can head downtown for the Pedal the Cause 2013 Kickoff and Training Ride. The ride starts at PTC’s new office, 900 Spruce St., Ste. 125.

Sunday

For those looking to get dirty this weekend, Sunday brings some MTB action at the Broemmelsiek Challenge in St. Charles, MO. Event Flyer

KC area riders can participate in the Tour de Brew, a local ride that benefits BikeWalkKC.

The Tour de Brew KC is a historic point-by-point bicycle excursion of Kansas City’s breweries, historic brewing landmarks, and other breweriana, and is lauded as the “first of its kind in the region.” The ride begins and ends at Knuckleheads Saloon and is a benefit for BikeWalkKC—the local nonprofit fighting for more bike lanes and trails across the metro area.
