The very popular Missouri State Championship Time Trail and Criterium will both be held this weekend in Mid-Missouri. Over the course of two days, riders will race for each event’s state championship jersey. The winners will be able to wear these jerseys over the course of the next 12 months. Saturday’s time trial will not be held in Jefferson City this year. Instead, racers will be competing on a new course in Centralia, Missouri which is located just east of Columbia, Missouri. Sunday’s criterium will run around the State Capital building in downtown Jefferson City, Missouri. Weather Forecast

Those looking for something more historic and low-key can head to STL for The Old Frenchtown Bike Tour. This 10 mile urban ride explores two of St. Louis’ most fascinating and historic neighborhoods, LaSalle Park and Soulard. Home to some of the Midwest’s most interesting and unique architecture, both of these 19th century neighborhoods retain the imprint of the various ethnic and religious groups that have lived and worked there. Both are also case studies in the effects of highway construction on the traditional city as well as models of late 20th century historic preservation and urban redevelopment. Website : Weather Forecast
