KS State Cross Championships

In Events, Featured Story by Prologue Cycling MagLeave a Comment

At some point we will see some cold weather, right? Has anyone even raced in sub-40 or even sub-50 degree weather yet? Not that we are complaining. Once again, the weatherman is forecasting unseasonably warm temps for this weekend’s racing in the state of Kansas. KS State Cross Championships will be held this Saturday, December 8th in Topeka, Kansas.

The course will involve mainly grass, some pavement and the dreaded “Mound of Mercy” to test your cornering and running skills. Course will be open to pre-ride at 9:00 am on race day. Nationally renown race announcer
John Lefler will be on hand with his silky smooth voice and rocking tunes!

The race will be held at Hummer Sports Park located off of SW 6th Ave. and MacVicar Ave. Riders and spectators can park at the Natatorium. Online registration closes at noon on Thursday the 6th.
